Step by step, digitization is entering our dental world. Each practice has weekly a company that wants to show the next digital step on the market. On the one hand, this creates the necessary stress and tension to choose, but on the other it arouses a desire to move forward and innovate. By means of a versatile modular course, we want to ensure that every dentist can board the digital train at his own level, from basic to advanced. The story is told by a multidisciplinary team consisting of a reconstructive dentist, periodontist and dental technician. As a result, the main focus is on digital communication within this triangle in a patient-centered mindset. This two day course consists of 3 modules. In the first one the focus will be on digital dental scanning, using two digital scanners. The obtained file will be processed by the participants during a laptop hands-on and sent to the lab. The dental technician will then focus on material choice and attention points during scanning. Module two focuses more on solitary and three-piece bridge design on implants and the minimal precision of the scanner required for this. The production of a digital design at implant level and processing of the virtual wax up in planning software are discussed here. The third module will be an intensive training based of the necessary case studies. An advanced live surgery case will be performed by dentist, periodontist and dental technician followed by hands-on focusing  on prosthetic pontic design and gum profile.
