PAEDIATRIC DENTISTRY IN “MINIMAL INTERVENTION ERA” Pediatric dentistry IS NOT to treat a tooth. Communicative and empathy are only some of mandatory skills to a have proper management of little patients. Child’s care is to move from a mechanistic cavity oriented surgical approach to one which embraces many other strategies for caries prevention and management. We will discuss about non-invasive, micro invasive, minimally invasive strategies in order to perform a stress-free “child-oriented” pediatric dentistry. Strongly recommended to general dentists who don’t want to escape as soon a child sits in their dental chair, to young colleagues who would enter in this amazing world and to pediatric dentists who want to perfect their clinical decisions and protocols.
